TVS Motor Company said it will hold TVS MotoSoul 6.0 on December 11 and 12, 2026, bringing its flagship rider festival to Goa as the Chennai-headquartered manufacturer looks to keep momentum through the festive-season sales rush and a fast-growing electric portfolio.

The two-day event is set to mix riding and racing programmes with music, creator meet-ups and community activities, and has become one of the company’s main public platforms for new technology and motorcycle-related announcements. TVS said MotoSoul draws riders, racers, enthusiasts and the wider motorcycling community, and typically includes merchandise, accessories, custom builds and international collaborations.

The announcement comes as TVS reports a sharp jump in volumes in September, led by scooters, exports and electric two-wheelers, in a market where manufacturers are chasing demand ahead of the year-end buying season.

September volumes jump

TVS said it sold 672,790 vehicles in September, a 24.35% rise from the same month a year earlier. Compared with August, the company said sales were up 9.12%.

The September performance was driven by a combination of stronger electric-scooter demand and higher exports, according to the company’s stated sales commentary carried in reports. TVS operates across motorcycles, scooters, mopeds and three-wheelers, with a lineup that spans the Apache performance range, the Ronin, commuter motorcycles such as Raider and Sport, and scooters that include the NTorq 125 and Jupiter family.

In the July-to-September period, TVS said it sold more than 18.40 lakh two-wheelers, with domestic two-wheeler sales up 24.05% and exports up 34.37% year on year. Including three-wheelers, the company said its international business grew 34.82% to cross 5.39 lakh units in the quarter, with exports accounting for 28.11% of total quarterly sales.

Those numbers matter for a company that positions itself as a high-volume maker while also pushing into higher-margin segments such as connected scooters and premium motorcycles. TVS has also been expanding its electric footprint, anchored by the iQube electric scooter lineup, while continuing to sell the utility-focused XL100 moped and a range of three-wheelers sold under the King and Duramax names in CNG, LPG and electric variants.

MotoSoul’s role as a launchpad

TVS has used previous editions of MotoSoul to introduce or preview product and technology updates. In 2023, the company displayed the Apache RTR 160 4V with dual-channel ABS and voice assist. In 2024, TVS presented the RT-XD4 300 engine platform, described as its first indigenously designed, developed and engineered performance engine platform. The 2025 edition included the TVS Ronin Agonda Edition.

For 2026, TVS has not yet detailed what, if any, product announcements will be tied to MotoSoul 6.0. Still, the company’s framing of the festival as a blend of motorcycling, racing and culture, alongside its track record of using the event for technology reveals, signals that the Goa gathering may again be used to keep attention on the Apache brand and the company’s connected and electric push.

MotoSoul has also become a venue for custom motorcycle builds based on models such as the Apache RTR 310 and Apache RR 310, helping TVS tap into the enthusiast market even as most of its volumes come from commuter motorcycles and scooters.

Electric expansion beyond India

TVS’s electric push is also moving across borders. On July 23, 2026, TVS launched the Orbiter electric scooter in Nepal through distributor Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd. The company said the model offers a 158 km IDC range, a 3.1 kWh battery and connected features, and is aimed at daily commuting.

The Nepal launch adds to TVS’s efforts to build an international EV business alongside its established export pipeline for internal-combustion scooters and motorcycles. TVS has been pitching its EVs as practical urban transport with connected features, while using its dealer and service network to support adoption.

Away from products and events, TVS has also been in the news in connection with a reported corporate governance issue. Reports published on Monday said a second deal involving Venu Srinivasan was not put before the Tata Sons board, in the context of a Rs 330-crore Karnataka project and as Tata Trusts seeks changes to Tata Sons’ corporate and regulatory structure. TVS Motor Company did not announce any related development in its MotoSoul or sales updates.

For TVS, the immediate calendar now runs through the pre-festival retail surge, followed by MotoSoul in December, when the company will again have a ready-made stage to speak directly to riders and prospective buyers. Consumers looking to explore models, locate dealers or book test rides can do so through the company’s official website, while the industry will watch for any year-end product moves tied to the Goa event.
