Aadarsha Kutumbam (House No. 47), a family comedy with Venkatesh and Srinidhi Shetty written by Trivikram, opened on 30 October. Reviews praise Venkatesh's comic timing and the first half, and fault a predictable story and weaker second half. Ratings run from about 2.25 to 3 out of 5.

Aadarsha Kutumbam House No. 47, also called AK47, a Telugu family comedy starring Venkatesh, opened in theatres on Friday, 30 October, and the first reviews are mixed to positive. Critics praise Venkatesh's comic timing and the first half, and they fault a predictable story, weak emotional scenes and a second half that loses the first half's flow. Ratings from Telugu review sites range from about 2.25 to 3 out of 5.
The film follows Chitti Babu Thotti, a middle-class man played by Venkatesh, his wife Swarna, played by Srinidhi Shetty, and their children, who are struggling with debts. They win a lottery of Rs 100 crore and buy a villa for Rs 20 crore. Their happiness does not last, because a gang of dacoits from Bihar targets the newly rich family, according to one review, and another says that the unexpected developments pull the family into a world of crime.

One review notes that this is the first time that Trivikram and Venkatesh have worked together as director and lead actor, although they have worked together on earlier films when Trivikram was a writer. Another review credits Trivikram only with the writing and screenplay and does not name a director, so the credit should be checked against the film's titles.
| Review site | Rating | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| 123Telugu | 3 out of 5 | A decent entertainer; first half works, second half weaker |
| Telugu360 | 2.75 out of 5 | A breezy, entertaining family film and a good weekend watch |
| Oneindia | about 2.25 to 2.5 out of 5 | Solid first half, weak second half |
What the reviews praise: Venkatesh's performance, in which he handles family emotion, comedy and action; Srinidhi Shetty's comic timing; Satya's comedy; Thaman's background score, especially in the crime sequences; and Trivikram's humour and dialogue. The interval action sequence is called a highlight, and one critic names about 20 minutes before the interval and 45 minutes of the second half as the strongest stretches.
What the reviews criticise: a predictable story with a standard family-and-crime setup, emotional scenes that feel artificial, songs that add little apart from one number, editing that stumbles in the second half, and underwritten characters. One review says that Nivetha Pethuraj has very little to do. Early reactions on social media were also split, with viewers praising the first half and criticising the screenplay.
Oneindia notes that the film marks a reunion of Venkatesh and Trivikram after 25 years, since Trivikram wrote the script and dialogues of Venkatesh's 2001 film Nuvvu Naaku Nachav. Other names in the cast include Brahmaji, Vennela Kishore and Dimple Hayathi. The critics it lists range from a very positive reviewer, who calls it a blockbuster theatrical experience, to ratings of average or above average, and it puts one review at 2.25 to 2.5 out of 5. It calls the climax just okay and the songs speed breakers, and says the tracks of Nivetha Pethuraj and Nara Rohith were wasted.
The reviews do not give box office figures or the runtime of the film. The makers have not announced an OTT release date or a platform, and listings show the date as to be decided. The film opened on a Friday at the start of a weekend, which is when family entertainers of this kind usually build their audience through word of mouth.
The reviews broadly agree that the film is a light, watchable comedy that depends heavily on its lead actor and on Trivikram's dialogues, and that it is let down by a story the audience can see coming. For fans of Venkatesh's comic roles, it is the kind of film they have come to expect from him. Anyone planning to watch should keep in mind that the reviews are from the opening day, and that audience response may change the picture.
