Amul, the brand of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation, has launched High Protein Cubes, a savoury snack that gives 25 g of protein and 150 calories in a 38 g single-serve pack. The company says that the product is 65% protein and priced at Rs 80. It comes in a box of five packs, each with a seasoning sachet, in five flavours, and it is sold through the Amul Shop app and website. The launch was announced on 30 October on the company's social media.

| Energy | 150 calories per pack |
| Price | Rs 80 |

The five flavours are Peri Peri, Korean Kimchi, Tandoori, Cheese and Herbs, and Tomato. The reports differ on whether the Rs 80 price is for one pack or for the whole box of five. Amul's own announcement, as quoted, says that a 38 g pack has 25 g of protein with 150 kcal and is priced at just Rs 80, while other reports describe Rs 80 as the price of the box, so buyers should check the listing.
Consumers add the seasoning from the sachet to the pack and shake it, which gives a seasoned crunchy snack. The cubes can also be dropped into gravies or soups to add protein, or used in a crunchy bhel. The reports found do not list the ingredients.
Amul began its high-protein direct-to-consumer range in 2022 with paneer and dahi. The range later expanded to lassi, buttermilk, milkshakes and whey protein, and in 2025 it added high-protein milk and a mango kulfi. In April 2025 Amul launched the mango kulfi with 10 g of protein and 57 calories in a 60 g pack, priced at Rs 40, and its managing director, Jayen Mehta, said the company planned more protein-focused products, including snacks. The cubes extend the range into ready-to-eat snacks.
One commentary piece calculated that the cubes cost about Rs 3.20 per gram of protein, which is about half the cost of typical protein bars at Rs 150. That is a third-party estimate and not a figure from Amul, and it assumes that the price is for a single pack.
The reports found do not give the ingredients, the protein source or the shelf life. They do not say when the cubes will reach shops or other retail channels, and they do not say how many cubes are in a pack. They do not carry a statement from Amul beyond the announcement on social media.
