Bay of Bengal low brings heavy rain to Tamil Nadu and Kerala, and may become a storm by month end
IMD expects a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal this week, with heavy to very heavy rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and coastal Andhra Pradesh. It may become a depression by 27 October and, possibly, a cyclonic storm near the Andhra-Odisha coast by month end.
